The Frontier is excited to announce the artists whose work has been selected for the First Annual RTP Employee Art Exhibit. We decided we would select all of the entries to hang in the show to celebrate the creative and artistic talent we have here in the RTP.
Dr. Lawrence Wheeler of the North Carolina Museum of Art will serve as the juror for this show. He will announce the first, second and third place winners at the opening reception on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 at The Frontier – 800 Park Offices Drive. There will be light fare and drinks provided.
The art will be available for viewing beginning February 11 through March 11 during The Frontier’s operating hours (generally 9:00-5:00 M-F). Many pieces will be available for sale. Any inquiries regarding purchases must be directed to the artist. Their contact information will be on display next to their pieces during the show. Purchases can be retrieved from the artists once the show wraps.
We will also be awarding first, second and third place prizes at the opening reception. Additionally, RTP staff will be able to vote on their favorite piece, which will continue to live at The Frontier once the show closes. While you’re visiting, make sure to vote in the People’s Choice Award!
