Durham Independence Day Celebration July 4th, Bulls Athletic Park Celebrate patriotism and civic pride with Durham Parks and Recreation and the Durham Bulls. The dynamic fireworks show will begin immediately following the game. Gates will open for general admission at the end of the 7th inning of the ballgame. FREE admission. “The Works” Downtown Raleigh July 4th, Fayetteville Street Independence Day Celebration during the day with live music, beer/wine tent, kids rides and games, aerial performances, Cirque de Vol street performers, eating contests, food and art vendors, and much more! Chapel Hill Fireworks Celebration July 4th, UNC’s Kenan Memorial Stadium Enjoy the 4th of July holiday with a fireworks display, watermelon eating contest, face painting and music by The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra.
